The context

Leegra came to us at a moment of pressure. The business was feeling the squeeze of a rapidly changing retail environment, intensified by COVID, and later by a shift in ownership. The challenge wasn’t only market-facing; it was internal too. How do you modernise, digitise, and regain momentum without erasing the credibility and trust built over years in-store?

This wasn’t a cosmetic problem. It was a continuity problem.

The challenge

Leegra needed to:

  • Translate a deeply human, in‑store experience into the digital world

  • Navigate leadership and ownership change without fracturing brand trust

  • Refresh the brand identity without discarding hard-earned industry equity

  • Rebuild momentum after a destabilising transition

The strategic response

We approached Leegra as a living system, not a logo.

Our work began with brand strategy and executive alignment: clarifying what must remain sacred, what could evolve, and what needed to be rebuilt. From there, the work unfolded across identity, culture advisory, and external touchpoints.

Brand identity evolution
Rather than a radical rebrand, we engineered a controlled evolution. The Leegra name remained, but the identity was reimagined to signal clarity, optimism, and confidence. Blues were replaced with a teal spectrum to introduce freshness and differentiation, while still honoring the brand equity blues had historically built. A new icon was developed - a location pin fused with a smile - symbolising people, presence, and connection. This icon became more than a mark; it became a personality system capable of seasonal expression, tonal shifts, and mascot-style storytelling.

Brand culture & leadership advisory
Alongside the visual work, we acted as strategic partners to leadership during a sensitive change-management phase. Through advisory sessions, archetype development (anchored in wisdom, care, and trust), and executive alignment, the brand regained internal coherence, a prerequisite for external credibility.

Digital & touchpoint execution
Leegra’s digital presence was rebuilt twice — each iteration responding to business evolution. The website reframed services into a clear growth narrative (Ignite → Expand), reinforcing momentum and scalability. Human-centric imagery, real staff representation, and a strong narrative hierarchy restored warmth and approachability.
